  Kelle Arvay
Owner of Pattern Mart 
 
Co-Publisher and Founder

Co-founded Creative Times with Deena Davis in May 2006.  
Kelle is a published designer of various primitive doll 
patterns.  She also paints folk art and altered art. 
Kelle strives to provide resources through Creative Times
that will inspire others.

                                            
  Kim Banks
Owner of Craftisan Graphics
Co-Publisher

Kim has worked in marketing & advertising field and acquired
extensive graphic design skills in print and multimedia design.
With her variety of experience in web, graphic and print design
she can provide
custom graphic designs, creative logo design,
animated graphics,
eStore websets and more, just about anything
a small business needs.
She also does the layout and most of the
advertising designs for CT.

 Ellen Smith
 Owner of Mamas Country Shed
 Writer/Editor Of Let's Get Creative

 Ellen is the proud owner of the website, MAMA's Country Shed, which
features the original primitive  photo and quote candles called Life Candles™
&  Life Quotes™ Candles. The Shed carries a humble mix of a little bit of this
and that. She's looking forward to share ideas on how to get creative with new
projects, as well as instructions, patterns and recipes for new projects in the Let's
Get Creative column.

  Nicole Helmer
Owner of
Foxfire Creek Primitives
Writer/Editor of Serious Business Column


Nicole, along with her husband own Foxfire Creek Primitives, a
country and primitive home décor store. They also own 1871 Candle Co.,
which manufactures natural soy candles .  Before becoming a WAHM,
Nicole was a senior paralegal specializing in probate, real estate and
personal injury law. Nicole looks forward to using her expertise in her written column.

Vicki Bradley

Ol' Time Notions
Writer/Editor of Getting Organized Column

Vicki is a Kentucky resident and o
rganizing is something that Vicki finds very enjoyable
and has executed these skills in her previous jobs as well as her current daily activities
as a WAHM. She looks forward to helping our readers organize their work space, homes
and more. She is currently working on her new website, where she and her husband Mike
will sell crafts they make.

Renee Wilkey
Owner of Strokes of Magic
Writer/Editor of Quick Tips Column

Renee is a artist/teacher of the creative arts, specializing in Folkart, Formal and Decorative art.
She owners and operates two e-businesses, where she offers her handmade items,
painted creations and craft supplies. They are working on a brick and mortar shop/studio with
hopes of opening in the fall. She hopes to bring many "tips" for home, business and creating
for the CT readers.
 


Melanie McMahon
Owner of
Mel N Chel's Country Primitives
Writer/Editor of Children's Corner Column

Melanie owns Mel N Chel’s Country Primitives with her mom Michele. Together they make
unique themed potpourri, soy candles, melts, and stitched pillows, among other primitive items.
She is the production manager at a children’s book publisher in Atlanta, where she has worked
as both an editor and a book designer during her 12-year tenure. She hopes to bring her creativity
and knowledge of current kids' trends to the Children’s Corner column.
 

Kelli Dewal
Owner of The Giftware Gallery
 Writer/Editor of Crafters Questions & Answers Column

 Kelli DeWaal offers high quality prim ‘n country items through her business
The Giftware Gallery, including items such as candles, tarts. room sprays, fixins,
rag quilts & runners, and hand painted primitive wood signs among the unique
gathering of items. She is happy to become a part of the team here at Creative Times
