Pinwheel Magnets

Materials List
Pinwheel template from free Appliqué Patterns Volume 2
from www.sewpractical.com
2 coordinating fabrics for each pinwheel
Heat Bond or other iron on adhesive
1 magnet for each pinwheel
1 button for each pinwheel
Glue gun & glue stick

Instructions
1. Layer each as pictured below—top fabric, Heat Bond, bottom fabric. If fabric has a right side and a wrong side, then the right side MUST be facing outward on both sides.

2. Follow instructions on Heat Bond package to bond the front and back pieces together. Next place the pinwheel template on top of the bonded squares and cut on the solid diagonal lines stopping where indicated.

3. Set template aside. Fold left corner of each section to the middle and sew the corners to the center.

4. After all left corners are secure, sew a button in the center.

5. Glue the magnet on the back.

6. You’re Pinwheel Magnet is now finished. The template in the appliqué pattern has 3 sizes of pinwheels to choose from.
